Who Do We Think We Are?
Many believe that the development of the word was the beginning of complex thought. No matter how much evidence you can give me to support this theory, I will never believe it. There is a thought mechanism that works outside of the verbal construct. This has been a very deep understanding that has guided my life and how I interact with the world. I don’t believe I am alone.
A great appreciation for life on this magnificent planet during this particular era, compels me to pose questions and expose thoughts with a camera. The studio work allows me to concentrate on developing my eye. The experience of producing images in the studio informs the work I produce outside the studio. Both ways of working with a camera are integral to my process of developing the work.
